Experts call for improvements to EU Commission’s construction products proposal | February 2018

The German environment agency (UBA) has released a report critiquing the European Commission’s draft proposal on how to communicate the indoor emissions of hazardous substances from construction products.

There has been an ongoing debate on how to harmonise requirements for documenting emission test results of construction products. The issue has been a hot discussion throughout the implementation of the Construction Products Regulation, which came into force in 2013.
